Application navigation

Deratix uses responsive navigation that adapts to your screen size. Desktops and tablets use a sidebar, while phones use a bottom navigation bar.

For Employees

  • 🖥️ Desktop: all menu items are in the left sidebar
  • 📱 Mobile: main items are in the bottom bar, with more items under More

Note: Menu items appear according to permissions set by the administrator. If you do not see an item, you do not have access to it.

For Clients

Customers with access to the client portal see simplified navigation:

  • 🖥️ Desktop: sidebar with 3 items
  • 📱 Mobile: bottom bar with 3 items, without More

Desktop Navigation

On screens wider than 768px, the sidebar is on the left.

Collapsing the Sidebar

Click the arrow button at the bottom to collapse the sidebar. In collapsed mode, only icons are visible. Hovering over an icon shows the item name. The collapsed or expanded state is remembered when you reopen the app.

Bottom of the Sidebar

The lower part of the sidebar contains:

Click the logo at the top to return to Dashboard.


Mobile Navigation

On screens narrower than 768px, Deratix uses a bottom navigation bar.

Note: On some work-heavy pages, such as protocol creation or client import, the bottom bar is hidden so it does not interfere with work.

On desktop, the page header appears at the top.

The header shows the path to the current page. Click any item in the path to return to that page. Example: ClientsClient detailGastro Perla s.r.o.

The search button on the right side opens quick search. It can find:

  • Protocols by number, client or technician
  • Clients by name or company ID
  • Quick actions such as “new protocol” or “settings”

Open search:

  • 🖥️ Desktop: press Ctrl+K on Windows or Cmd+K on Mac, or click the search button
  • 📱 Mobile: use the search field on Dashboard

Offline Indicator

A red dot appears on Home (mobile) or Dashboard (desktop) when you are offline. See Offline mode for details.

Help

  • 🖥️ Desktop: click Help at the bottom of the sidebar
  • 📱 Mobile: tap More, then Help

The app opens documentation relevant to the current page. You can also search the full documentation.


Language Switch

Change the app language from the profile menu:

  • 🖥️ Desktop: click your name at the bottom of the sidebar, expand Language, then select a language
  • 📱 Mobile: tap More, expand Language in the profile section, then select a language

The language changes immediately without signing in again.


Logout

  • 🖥️ Desktop: click your name at the bottom of the sidebar and select Log out
  • 📱 Mobile: tap More, then tap Log out in the profile section

Tip: Before logging out, make sure all draft protocols are saved or synchronized.
