On desktop, you can use column settings to hide or show selected columns.

Enter text, a protocol number, a client name, or another part of a record into Search….

You can combine filters:

  • User - shows actions by the selected user.
  • Entity type - narrows records by area, such as protocols, clients, or users.
  • Action - shows only a specific action type.
  • Date - limits records to a from-to date range.

On mobile, tap Filters. The number of active filters is shown directly on the button.

Tip: If you are looking for one event, combine search with a date range. This narrows the results significantly.

Sorting and pagination

By default, the newest records are shown first. On desktop, click the Date and time or User column header to change sorting.

For larger result sets, use pagination:

  • The default page size is 20 records.
  • On desktop, you can choose 10, 20, 50, or 100 records per page.
  • Previous and Next move between pages.

Record detail

Click a row, card, or detail icon to open Activity detail. The detail can include:

  • date and time,
  • user,
  • type and name of the affected record,
  • user role,
  • action source,
  • status,
  • error message if the action failed,
  • comparison of old and new values when available.

When changes are compared, only changed fields are highlighted. If you need more context, you can also show unchanged values.

Typical use

  • For protocols, check creation, status changes, sending, or reopening.
  • For clients, check creation, data edits, addresses, or imports.
  • For users, check account creation, role changes, or password resets.
  • For codebooks, check item edits, ordering, or active status.

Offline mode

Activity history is not available offline. Without a connection, the page shows Offline and records are not loaded.

URL and shared filters

Search, filters, sorting, and pagination are stored in the page URL. You can send a filtered link to a colleague with the same access.

Frequently asked questions

Why do I not see all records?

The history range depends on permissions set by the administrator. If you need a broader overview, ask the administrator to adjust your access.

Why is a filter or value missing from the list?

Filter options are created from available records. If a certain action type is not yet present in the history, it may not appear in the filter.

Are filters kept after refreshing the page?

Yes. Filters are part of the URL, so they stay applied after a refresh.
