License

You need a valid license to use the Deratix application. If you use Deratix through the trial period, the license is activated automatically. If the license is inactive or expired, an information screen is shown instead of the application.

What does this screen mean?

If you see the license information screen when opening the app, it means that:

License activation

If you have permission to manage settings, an activation form is shown directly on this screen:

  1. Enter the license key into the text field
  2. Click Activate license
  3. After successful activation, the page refreshes automatically and the application is shown

Tip: You can also confirm the license key by pressing Enter.

If activation fails, an error message is shown with a description of the problem. In that case, check:

  • That the key was entered correctly (copy it directly from the email or your account)
  • Your internet connection
  • Whether the key has already been used on another server

What can you do without admin permissions?

If you do not see the activation form, contact your organization administrator.

Manage the license online

In the license.deratix.com portal, you can:

  • Check the status of your license
  • Renew the license after expiration
  • Purchase a new license or change your plan

License expiration

Before the license expires, a warning is shown in the app. We recommend renewing the license before the expiration date to avoid losing access. Details about what happens afterwards are available in the expiration and renewal section.

Will I lose my data if the license expires?

No. Your data, including protocols, clients and settings, remains stored safely. Once the license is renewed, you regain full access to everything.

Can I create protocols without a license?

No. Without a valid license, you cannot access any feature in the application. The whole application remains blocked until the license is activated or renewed.

Where can I find the license key?

You received the license key by email when purchasing the application. If you cannot find it, contact support at support@deratix.com or look it up in your account on license.deratix.com.
