Scheduling a visit in the protocol calendar prepares a draft protocol for the technician. With synchronization on, the same date is written to the Google calendar — no retyping and no risk of the app and the calendar drifting apart. Changing the date or the technician in Deratix updates the calendar automatically.

Some companies plan in one shared calendar; others want each technician to have their visits in their own. Deratix supports both, and their combination. Technician calendars can run under the company Google account, or a technician — once allowed by the administrator — connects their own account, so nobody has to change how they follow their day.

Sent protocols get marked as done — by your rules
Company rules decide what gets written to the calendar. You choose whether draft protocols and protocols under review are included. For a sent protocol, the event can stay, be marked as done, or be removed; you pick the behavior for canceled protocols the same way. The calendar shows exactly what the team needs to see.
The event tells the technician everything that matters
An event in Google Calendar is more than a time slot. It carries the protocol number, the client with the site address, work type and subtype, tags, the next visit or inspection date, and optionally the internal instruction from planning. It links straight to the protocol in Deratix — one tap takes the technician from the calendar to the prepared record.
Order kept even when things change
After connecting the account, backfill existing future protocols into the calendar in one step. If someone edits events in Google Calendar by hand, the change check detects it and the Deratix plan puts them back in order. And when disconnecting the account, you decide whether events created by Deratix stay in the calendar or are removed first.
